Sweatcoin App Review & F.A.Q.

Get Paid to Walk?

So pretty much everybody has seen those apps that count your steps everyday, right? Nothing new there. But what if you were to get PAID based on the amount of steps you took? WOuld that motivate you to possibly take the stairs instead of the elevator? I get paid for all my steps I take with this app. I redeem my sweatcoins regularly for Paypal cards and credit and you can as well!

Rewarding people like you and I who live an active and healthy lifestyle is now actually becoming more of a mainstream trend, as more and more platforms much like this are starting to become available for use. One such opportunity like this comes from the app called Sweatcoin.

But before we begin, let us first discuss what Sweatcoin is and how it works.

What is the Sweatcoin App?

Sweatcoin is a digital currency (cryptocurrency) that you earn by walking or running.  Sweatcoin will track & verify your outdoor steps and fitness activities using your iPhone or Android phones accelerometers and GPS location. Those steps get converted into their digital currency — Sweatcoins.

Sweatcoin is the name of an app that was designed to motivate people to get moving and become involved in a more active lifestyle by paying them to do just that. This app can track your steps taken and will pay you in a virtual currency that you can then redeem for rewards.

You will not be paid in point. You will actually be paid in the in app currency called Sweatcoins. With these Sweatcoins, you can redeem them for rewards like gift cards and cash and other cool prizes like Beats headphones. Did I mention that it is free to download the Sweatcoin app and get started?

1,000 Outdoor steps = 0.95 sweatcoins

At its core, Sweatcoin is an app made for mobile devices that will track your movement throughout the day and then convert the steps you take into their in app currency, Sweatcoins. The concept with this app is to help incentivise you to get up off the couch, break away from the desk at work and start moving. In return for doing this, you are rewarded with Sweatcoins that you can then trade in for actual physical prizes.

Who Uses the Sweatcoin App?

This mobile app is used by pretty much two different types of people: those who are looking for motivation to start moving more and starting a more active lifestyle, and those who already are quite active and are looking for ways to make some money online/with a phone.

It CAN be possible that you can be both types of people in this scenario. The app definitely benefits both groups quite well.

The Sweatcoins that you earn for your steps can then be redeemed for some pretty sweet rewards like items such as gift cards, and cash. This is basically a win/win situation for you.

How Can You Make Money with the Sweatcoin App?

As mentioned above, Sweatcoin is an app that pays you to walk. This app keeps track of the steps you take and compensate you in Sweatcoins once you reach a certain number of steps.

(Usually about every 1000 steps from my experience)

These Sweatcoins you earned from walking can then be redeemed for sweet reward options that the company will offer you. You will have a choice between gift cards, items, cash, or you even have the option to donate to the company’s partner charity.

This Sweatcoin app is designed to keep track of how many steps you during the day (or night) and then pay you once you have passed a threshold of every 1,000 steps. The usually pays you about 0.95 Sweatcoins for reaching that target or 1,000 steps. This has been the going rate in my personal experience, anyway

Now, getting to 1,000 steps is not that hard, as an average American adult can easily rack up around between 5,000 and 7,000 steps in a single day. (I average a little over 8,000, myself) This means that earning 5 Sweatcoins a day is very achievable by just about anybody.

Earning 5 Sweatcoins each day will be your max allowed as a Mover, which is the free membership account of Sweatcoin. Any more steps you take after earning that and you will forfeit those extra earnings.

In order to make sure that the app will count your steps properly, you only to keep it running in the background.

It is also important to note that this app will only count the steps that you have taken when you are only outdoors. This paticular app will connect to your mobile device’s GPS to see if you are outdoors or indoors.

Once you have earned about 50 or more coins, you then have the option to start redeeming them for rewards! The app is currently offering gift cards from brands like Amazon, Forever 21, Paypal and more as well.

Another additional thing you can also exchange your points for, are items like fitness apparel, leggings or even gadgets like an iPhone 8 if you have enough coins for it. If you happen to feel a little more generous, you can use your coins to donate to charities that Sweatcoins has partnered with. Your choices definitely have a lot of variety here.

You will probably need around 50 Sweatcoins or so in order to be able to redeem them. It is extremely easy and free to join Sweatcoin. All you have to do is open this page from your phone and then click the banner below and download the app, register, and then complete your profile. Takes about 5 minutes.

Once you are done with that, you can easily set up this app to start tracking your steps. At this point, you will start to earn some of those sweet Sweatcoins!.

What can I get for and buy with my Sweatcoins?

You will need a minimum of about 50 Sweatcoins or so before you are ready to do any shopping. I would personally recommend that you hold out until you have a bit more than that. But once you have enough Sweatcoin to start shopping, you will go to the Sweatcoin marketplace in your app and that is where you will see what you can buy. As of me writing this review, some of the options include audiobooks, male compression tops, leggings, an iPhone and a curved Samsung television along with a couple Paypal options and some Beats headphone.

You can even combine your Sweatcoins with your friends and higher priced items.

You will most likely notice that all of the reward options are priced differently based on the cost of the products. Want $1,000 in cash from PayPal? That will cost you around 20,000 Sweatcoins. A $50 Nike gift card might cost 3,650 Sweatcoins.

What is So Great About this Sweatcoin App?

Now that we have an idea of what Sweatcoin is and how it works, let’s discuss some of the reasons that I personally like this app so much:

  • Without a doubt, one of the best things about Sweatcoin is that it can really push you to live a more active lifestyle and get you involved in more outdoor activities. This can usually lead to a much healthier lifestyle overall so the benefit here is not purely monetary. The fact that this app only tracks the steps you take outdoors (and not inside), means that walking around the house or office will not really count as an active lifestyle.
  • I also like that Sweatcoin offers a rotating variety of rewards for you to choose from. These also often include Paypal cash. This provides you with more motivation since you have more enticing rewards to choose from, instead of just one or two prizes.
  • I also really like the fact that this app is free to join. Sure, there are paid upgrades, and you can pay for those upgrades using the Sweatcoins you have already earned. But because you never have to spend anything directly out of pocket, that is also another plus for me.

Is the Sweatcoin App Legit or is it a Scam?

Based on what I’ve seen about the app, I can say that it is definitely a legitimate app that will really do what it claims do to. (Which is more than I can say for a bunch of scam apps out there)

All you need to do is activate the app, keep it running on the background, and just start walking outside. You only need to remember that the app will only track steps that you have taken outdoors.

You will get paid to walk and be fit.

However, you should not expect to get rich with just solely using the Sweatcoin app.  You will be able to make money, but you won’t make unrealistic amounts of money but it is a great way to make passive income.

After downloading Sweatcoin on your phone; it tracks your outdoor steps throughout the day and rewards you with about 1 SWC (1 Sweatcoin) per 1,000 steps you make.

Is sweatcoin legit?

YES! I think it is, Sweatcoin is Definitely worth it! This is a free app that PAYS YOU to walk or get fit, what’s not to love?

Where can I get Sweatcoin?

Sweatcoin is available on both smartphones and wearables. Just open this page using your smart phone and click any Sweatcoins banner like the one below:

How Much Have I Made With Sweatcoin?

How much you can make with Sweatcoin really is honestly dependent on how active you are on a daily basis. It is also dependant on other things such as if your account is upgraded or not and if you share your link with other people as well. The more active you are, the more you are able to make with Sweatcoin. I had the Sweatcoin app for several weeks and I have also referred several people by talking about it on my facebook page, telling my friends about it and having it on my blog like this. It has definitely made me a few bucks so far. Not anything extravagant, but you can get 5 sweatcoins each day on a free account plus another 5 coins for each new friend you refer, so it really adds up quick. I got my eye on a pretty big Amazon or Paypal card so I am going to continue to hold mine for a while.

Which devices does Sweatcoin support?

Sweatcoin is designed to work with iPhones and the Apple Watch on the Apple side, though only the iPhone 5s or newer devices are compatible. Over on Android, you’ll need to have a handset that has Android 4.4 or newer.

OK, I’ve downloaded it. Now what?

Once you’ve successfully downloaded the free app, you’ll have some work to do before you can start earning coin.

Sweatcoin walks you through the process of creating a username and verifying that it’s fine for the app to know where you’re going and track your movement without your app being open. It’ll also ask for your email address and phone number.

Once you’re fully verified, the app opens, and you’re ready to start walking. As you walk more, you rack up steps. The conversion from steps to Sweatcoin is a bit of a moving target, but generally speaking, for every 1,000 steps you take, you’ll earn a single Sweatcoin. Actual real-world-currency value depends on what you’re buying and the price affixed to it. In fact, some of the pricing seems arbitrary and not tied to an exact exchange rate.

In addition to tracking your steps, the app is your repository for all things Sweatcoin. In the app, you can see how many Sweatcoin you’ll need to buy audiobooks, get an Amazon credit or even get your hands on a $1,000 Delta Airlines ticket, or a new iPhone.

Additionally, the app gives you a history of what you’ve purchased with Sweatcoin, lets you see how your friends are doing with the program and, yes, gives you the option to upgrade to a paid plan.

Can I send Sweatcoin to friends or family?

Sure can! In this app, there is an option to “Send to friend.” Choose this option when you see it, and then select the person you would like to send some or even all of your Sweatcoin to. That person will get a credit for that amount and will be able to use the Sweatcoin any way they see fit!

(Sorry, bad joke there)

Can I compete with friends and family?

Yes! Absolutely! There is a feature inside the app that will let you follow your friends and even create a leaderboard to see who’s doing the best job of taking the most steps everyday.

Is Sweatcoin to be Recommended?

Is the Sweatcoin app to be recommended? Well, this actually depends on what you want to accomplish in your lifetime.  If you’re looking to make some good money online, then this app is not for you.

Yes, it does provide cash as a reward, but with the limited Sweatcoins you can earn in a day and the high coin requirement to redeem for cash, I don’t see a way for you to earn decent money with this app consistently.

But if your goal is to lose weight and start living a healthy lifestyle, then this app could actually help you with that.

With the reward the app offers for just walking outdoors, Sweatcoin can help motivate you to start living healthily and build a habit to have a healthy lifestyle.

If you want to earn more, then Sweatcoin is not for you. But if you want to build a healthy lifestyle, then this app is for you. Click below to get started.

Once you click any of the boxes above and join Sweatcoin for free, remember to get your referral link and head on over to Viral Stacking and put it in the downline builder.
